Feet of Clay is a fast-paced 2D arena battler in which you take control of a golem, using your flying kicks and clay projectiles to return your opponent to the earth.
Inspired by other 2D PvP games like TowerFall, Duck Game, Super Smash Bros, or Samurai Gunn, Henry Richardson and I collaborated to create this movement-focused fighting game made for two players.

Henry Richardson and I developed the game over the course of a month. We both were responsible for programming the game—I programmed the base player movement, the scoring and lives system, and the camera and particle effects, while Henry was primarily responsible for the projectile attack, the PS5 controller input integration, and the audio event listeners.
Additionally, I designed the level layouts for the game, made the player animation system, and drew original pixel art for the players, the scoring icons, the clay projectile, and the final end screen. The spritesheet for the levels was made by Szadi Art and the title and end screen font was made by vrtxrry. Henry was responsible for creating the sound effects and music in the game.
